SUNDAY 18TH SEPTEMBER.
INTER CLUB FINAL 2011
Woodside won the trophy after the final held at Essex County.
We've all heard the phrase "Rub of the green" and it certainly went Woodside's way on the day.
Congratulations go to Vic Brady and Ray Woollard who were victorious in the pairs, winning 20-15.
Southend lost the singles 21-12, Triples 18-12 and the fours 23-15.

Monday 12th September
Dennyside BA
The Southend and Dennyside teams.
Senior Vice President Frank Shaw came to the club on Monday 12th September
with his team from Dennyside BA.
They came from eight different counties for the match, which resulted in a six
shot win for Dennyside BA.
Everyone enjoyed a very nice lunch before the match and high tea when the
game finished. A collection was made for the President's charity and a
representative, Dr Mike Devine, from the Institute of Neurology was in attendance
and received a cheque for £3,500. This total was made up from the collection
on the day, money raised from various events held at the club and a generous
donation fron Dennyside BA.
